Hi all, selling my current car (passat 2.0tdi) and van (transit connect) and wanting to get a single vehicle to do the job of both. I use the car 90% of the time and van 10% so need something reasonably economical but large enough to carry what i need.

Want something around €10k and >2008 with tax <€1000 and 40mpg at least.

Looking at 2008 Freelander 2.2 diesel manual, anyone have any experience of mpg of these?

Also considering the Rav4, its a little on the small side but might work.

    Any opinions?
