Hi, i were unfortunate to write off my car the other day on black ice, im waiting for the insurance assessor to come out next week, my question is when the car was being remived from the hedge i noticed a back tyre slightly bald, would this impact anyway on the assessors decision to pay out? thanks

Yes it would do. If it were to be below the legal thread depth it could be deemed the cause of the accident and they may refuse to pay out.
