Is it possible for him to open a bank account?

    Hi FOXFISH1,

    Thanks for your post.

We are required by law to obtain valid photo id and proof of address prior to opening an account for a new customer. For more information on what is needed to open a current account with us, please see here.

    Thanks

Yes a Garda Age Card will be accepted as photo ID when opening your account.

If you need help with anything else, please let us know.
