1/4 ounce of green & a growler of fine ale, Cohiba & a glass of single malt, yapping & laughing with my OH

I love to go down to the schoolyard and watch all the little children jump up and down and run around yelling and screaming...

Used to be a hot bath, a glass of wine, and a joint, but I've gotten rid of the bath and given up smoking so now I'm just tense all the time.

About to do what relaxes me the most right now!

Very long walk around the city on my own and through the park with music in me ear. I'll have a coffee somewhere close to my flat before I head off, walk, stop off in the park, sit on a bench, eat an apple and read for a while, then I'll go on walking while eating another apple 'till I do a loop around Madrid centre then stop off somewhere on the way home for a glass of wine and more read of me book and then I'll head out later. Nice.

During the summer a nice cycle (for fitness or a meander with a friend) and a stop for coffee and cake was always a great way to chill out.

Go Deer Shooting, don't even care if I get 1, it's more for the 4-6 hour walk, getting out in the fresh air seeing parts of the country others would not even know existed, a Deer is a bonus though...

Drink twice as much wine, then? Or sit in the puddle of water on the base of the shower while knocking back a bottle? I remember I'd this tiny bath when I lived alone about a metre in length I'd squeeze myself into with a glass of wine. Where there's a will there's a way!

Why would you say that? Some of my most relaxing times have been walking down and sitting by the canal in Dublin with my earphones in, reading or doing some writing.

You do all that to unwind? I'd be wrecked. :pac:

    A sneaky afternoon sleep.
I had a busy/tiring week so this morning I got up early, went for a run, then came home and did some housework.
Getting into bed now for a couple of hours, knowing everything's done is just bliss :)

Play with the puppies, bring them for a walk and then let them run in the garden. They look like little bunnies when they are running full speed :D

Talk to the parrots and give Ruby cuddles. Attempt to give Charlie cuddles and accept that he doesn't quite trust me enough yet but at least he doesn't try to bite me anymore which is a sign of progress :)

Order a takeaway and give chips to Ruby and Charlie and share the BBQ ribs with Jamie and Lily.

I thought living on my own was the best thing ever until I got pets. Now I have four loveable housemates with their own unique personalities who make me laugh no matter how sh1t a day I'm having and the best thing is they never steal my food, leave the bathroom dirty or run up bills :pac:

A Friday night treat is to pour a little Mi-Wadi in my evening glass of water.

Think there's a pub in Limerick that serves it for free.

I could put my foot in a bucket while knocking back vodka and smoking tea out of a hookah I suppose...

It'd be lovely to have a tin bath in the living room, could lie back and have some vino while watching a movie.

Alcohol and night swimming, it's a winning combination!

Usually with Spotify, wine and comfort food, though the amount of calories consumed combined with the laziness that ensues the following day means it's not a particularly healthy way to relax and makes me feel guilty after. :( I'm not averse to weed but am far too innocent and law-abiding to ever actually get any. :pac:

Prevention is better than cure as they say - best approach to unwinding is not to get wound in the first place I find.

I meditate - love cooking gardening and DIY - sex - stay fit with running capoeira BJJ cycling and swimming - and most of all keeping time aside for just getting silly and childish with my kids.

After all that I do not feel "wound" at all so unwinding is not required.

I love watching box sets of tv shows or movies on my computer while having a lovely mug of tea with something chocolately to dip. Love reading too.

Depends on how stressed I am usually some music or watch a TV show. If I am more stressed I tend to play a video game like GTA or Gran Turismo.

After a long week I generally have a glass of a 12 year old Irish whiskey and put on a film.

Occasionally I'll go to the pub for a pint.
