Basis xbox live signup query

    Hi
    Sorry for such a basic question but I'm trying to connect an xbox 360 for the first time and it says 'Xbox live is not available in your region' :confused:

    It's out of the box and using a basic wifi and won't even let me sign in.

    Any advice?

    did you check what region it says your in?

    It doesn't allow me to check 'locale' in console settings so is there another way to check region?
