    After a very cold gusty morning a few snowflakes just fell here in Dunboyne. I never really expected it already as I didn't think it was quite cold enough just yet.

    The wind is picking up again now but I'm now hopeful that we might see some snow soon.

    Yeah it's playing skittles with the wheelie bins. Just got caught in a heavy hail shower that really hurt! Muckish fairly clear though so don't think we had much overnight.

    Hmmmm. I just had to gather my washing in from hedges and ground so am watching you with great interest! This is gusty wind not steadfast..;)

    Gust of 81mph this morning at Mace head. 3mph higher than was recorded there during the storm of two weeks ago and equal to the highest gust recorded in Ireland during that storm 81mph at Malin head. Knock also recorded 70MPH this morning.

    Edit: getting quite heavy with winds gusting to gale force.

    Edit again: some severe gusts now. Blizzard like outside :D

    Another edit: cleared up now. Short and very sweet. :)

    Some sleety showers this morning.
    Then about 5 mins ago the sky went from winter blue to shale grey in minutes then a lovely beefy snow shower(just petering out now)North Meath/Cavan

    I actually just use the regular www version of boards if I'm on these weather forums so I always see the locations, well as long as the user has it in his/her profile. Not too fond of the app anyway so no skin off my back.
