I was trying to be humorous with you based on what you said in your quoted post. I'm being supportive of the forum, but just trying to lighten the mood after the recent altercation. But, you know, if that's flying over heads, then I'll get back into my campbell stokes recorder.

Hey you succeeded :) I had a good laugh at your post. Well done :):)

The amount of thunder and ligthning this month has been ridiclous, heard a nice big bang an hour ago.
Anyone in Donegal, Sligo Leitrim getting excited by Met's warning tonight?
I see its snowing everywhere bar these counties at the minute going by the posts above, sums up my winter :D

I've had some heavy snow in the last hour, had some hail showers during the afternoon, have about 3 inches lying this was just a top up. I forget what rain is like lol ;) (currently -0.3C dp-2.7C)

Mayo and galway are blocking all my snow :(

Met Eireanns forecast for Monday looks promising. If Met Eireanns conservative forecast is telling me I will get sleet/snow, I think I should get excited!

And he went on to say after this cold weather clears up the straw clutching needs to stop thus writing off the rest of winter and thats why I posted. Not about this week.

Not sure if that's what you wanted to hear but glad we cleared it up <mod snip>

He explained he was talking about his own straws, not anyone elses. Stop trying your hardest to find something to argue about and enjoy the roller coaster.

18z is back being rather snowy countrywide Monday night into Tuesday. Looks like it'll be another few runs before we are confident of what will happen.

Where can I get these charts? Thanks :P

18z GFS Tuesday morning. Id take it :pac:

    WquNTe3.png

EDIT: it does have a dodgy looking mild sector accompanying it though. I think it's a case of the more precip it will give, the more it will lean towards marginality. We need it to be just the right balance of cold and precip.
