Advice with watch

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I primarily want a stopwatch which can take laps/splits and then save them for later retrieval. When training I’d usually be running around the track for intervals and take for example I was doing 200, 400, 600, 400, 200 as a session, I would like to run 200 save my time, then for the 400m get both 200m splits and again save, for the 600m get the three 200m splits and save etc. Then after training I can check my times and compare my splits across.

I currently have this Adidias watch which has dutifully served me for the past few years but I am getting annoyed when it fails to work in the rain because of the uber sensitive lap button! The beauty of Irish weather! The watch is great, open the stopwatch tap the sensitive start/lap button and away you go. Again to take a split tap the same button and spilt taken and displayed for a few seconds. At the end you can save the time and review it later on with the fastest split, average and each split.


Now the problem is trying to find the same and I don’t want to spend a fortune maybe €30 or so! So does anyone know if any of the following watches can do the above for me:

I use a version of the Timex watch above which does the job.
A nice big button for start/split, though it does need a firm push.
Good enough for most of my track sessions, though it won't show you fastest split, average etc - just a simple stop watch with lap/split record.
I think I got it in Argos for around 20 euro a few years ago, seems to be a bit more now.
You might need to get the 50 lap version instead of the 30 lap if you are thinking of recording lots of splits or something like 16x200m along with recoveries.
