Rey is also taking bookings on the indie circuit starting at 20 grand (source : Observer). I heard this referred to as 'F*ck off quoting' whereby you weed out the paltry offers from 2-bit indie feds and just get offers from the bigger 3rd promotions and international work, but wherever you go 20 grand seems a bit steep for a one nighter.

I'd hazard a guess that he won't still be charging 20k in a couple years time (unless he can still get it) but it makes sense to start as high as is reasonable right off the back of his WWE run when he's most relevant and demand will likely be highest.

So it was April is off rather than taking off April.

It's mad to think such a nothing start on NXT would turn into someone who was a division pretty much on her own for a long time.

Her acting skills, charisma and sense of fun with her job will be missed. Well they have been missed for a while now with how much time she was off.

A possible plus is it frees up a spot for Sasha Banks, who is actually a really good wrestler.

She was phoning it in since coming back. Looked like her heart wasn't in it any more which I guess is understandable considering all the off-TV stuff. I wonder whether she left on good terms or not.

I'd be interested in hearing her on a Cabana podcast.

I didn't think much of her when I first saw her on NXT but she far exceeded my expectations. Pity she won't be around when the influx of NXT women arrive.

She was by far my favourite woman on the main roster. I do like Paige & the Bellas but their characters are so one-layered in comparison to AJ and none of the other divas even come close to them. Have to assume Sasha & Charlotte will be called up soon?

There were six WWE NXT releases today. On top of the aforementioned C. Denzel Freeman and Tony Briggs, also released from their WWE deals today were:
*Courtney Freeman - Former amateur wrestler from Cumberlands, Kentucky.

*Dustin Mueller - A Chicago native with a bodybuilding background, Mueller was signed in late 2014 to train at the Performance Center.

*Leyvonna Zakari - A California actress and model, Zakari signed in April 2014 to train at the Performance Center.

*Laszlo Vandracsek - Originally born in Hungary but living in Phoenix, Vandracsek was a former Olympic Bobsledder.

None of the four had competed in the ring at NXT events.
