Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2011 Peugot 308 Cutting out at lights

We bought a 2011 308 diesel automatic. It has an eco option that means when you're stopped at lights the engine stops to save energy/emissions.

I remember to deactivate it most of them time but if I forget to deactivate the eco facility when I stop at lights the car stalls and won't restart until I turn off the ignition for about 10 secs then it will start again with no problem.

    Battery seems to be ok.

Thank you in advance for your help

The engine is supposed to stop if it's a city stop/start system.

It should restart by gently pushing the accelerator.

I've tried pressing the accelerator but nothing happens. The car will not turn over unless I turn off the ignition for 10 secs. Then turn on the ignition and off she goes

Take it back to where you bought it from or the main dealer.

p.s. Don't deactivate the stop/go system - you might confuse it or yourself.

Yeah, take it back and let them look at it.
