Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any recommendations in Dublin/surrounding area for a reasonably priced plastics guy/place?

Centre stand went on the bike and the bike went over, took this chunk out of the belly pan. I still have the piece to be welded back on just looking for a few recommendations of people/places

    Cheers

would it not be cheaper to source one from ebay or breakers maybe?
you would probably be looking at around 150 or more to fix and paint it.

Get a Plastex kit and DIY it.

Looks interesting CJ, might have a think about that.

I've been looking online since it happened, the belly pan that's on mine is nowhere to be found at all anywhere new or second in any colour.

There are powerbronze and other similar types out there that don't appeal to me and they are all priced around £100 in black or white mostly.

I figure it has to be cheaper to get mine repaired than to try replace it - if it's not I might just fit engine bars/crash bungs instead.

If you are really skint, use baking soda and superglue.
It fills and bonds really well.
Place the piece back into the position you want it in.
Run a bead of superglue over the joint so it soaks into the crack and then dust on the baking soda powder, it will fill any imperfections and gaps.
Sand back and get it painted.
Plastex is a similar type of material but obviously comes in colours other than white
