Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ford Focus 2005 lost fob

Howdy. My housemate has lost her main key for her 2005 1.4 petrol Ford Focus. She has a spare key but it has not fob on it. I have two questions. 1/ Is there any way to get into the boot without the fob? 2/ What's the cheapest way to replace the fob? Can you buy one online and program it yourself? Thanks!

I think auto key charge 160 for genuine ford remote key for them and ford are 250-300 euro this is based on prices I got for my focus mk2 07 last year when I was getting one. I wouldnt think you could buy one online and code it yourself as when I got mine done they had to code the key using a computer/ diagnostics. Not sure on the boot thing my boot would unlock with the doors even when manually unlocking the car.
