Steel steps going to the main event.

    Ref waited for him.

    Chioda is crooked.

anyone calling shemus to return and cost bryan the match ?

If Reigns is going one-on-one with Lesnar, he will either win clean or turn heel. A face win but with Sheamus helping him would make him look like crap going into WrestleMania.

He was going to win, so I'm not surprised. Don't like the result, but at least it was clean.

    Piss off.

It was a good match though. Slow burner but it picked up big time.

Nobody can really be annoyed. They couldn't bail on the push now. It would kill roman for years.. Tbh I think Bryan got too much offense.

    Heel turn please..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

Roman wins with a Hard Shoulder at Fast Lane. I want this said at least once somewhere else online.

Any crowd apart from that crowd would have pi$$ed all over that result. WWE got lucky....
what'll the Raw crowd be like tomorrow though?

Good match but think about how bad Lesnar vs Reigns will be

That last few weeks have been one big long troll by WWE.

At least they booed the handshake at the end a bit.

Surely they won't close the show with Lesnar vs Reigns....

Wonder now can we have Bryan and Ziggler at Mania and just let them "Steal the show" :D:D:D

Unless they've got somewhere like Chicago/Canada/New York in the run up to Wrestlemania, I don't think the reactions will be hugely negative.

    WWE has worn everyone down.

They went off the air talking about Bray Wyatt vs Undertaker and HHH vs Sting. That says a lot about their main event.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,023 ✭✭✭seandotcomm

Guys, if it makes anyone feel any better... Florida Georgia Line are playing Dublin in 2 weeks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

My bold prediction is that either before Mania or on the night of Mania itself, Rollins is going to insert himself into the equation via the briefcase and make it a triple threat.

I just don't think they'll risk the main event being a turkey.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Music Moderators, Regional Midlands Moderators Posts: 24,135 Mod ✭✭✭✭Angron

I wonder will there be a Fastlane 2016, or will it just go the way of Capitol Punishment.

Two green, WWE made, wrestlers in two of the biggest matches on Mania.

I think we all knew it was going down that way anyway, even with the handshake to be fair. It was all set up to make Reigns look a star, Bryan was a afterthought.

My worry is what will they Bryan going into WM 31, Sheamus and Ziggler are such nothing matches.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

I think I've found my wrestling peeve. It's when fans criticize the live audience for not getting into the show. Maybe WWE have conditioned a section of their fanbase to criticize fellow fans, maybe it's just a part of smarkdom, I don't know but it's ridiculous. How can anyone have a go at the live audience tonight, they've paid good money and they've been given the wrestling version of manure. Instead of rounding on fans for not cheering maybe these people would be better off asking why they weren't cheering, tonight there was nothing to cheer.

Drab, filler, counterproductive. A waste of time up until the final two matches. Cena vs Rusev was fine but the screwy finish negates any positives a Rusev submission win over Cena would have given the Bulgarian. Reigns vs Bryan was very good but bigger picture I can't believe they are pushing ahead with Reigns versus Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Even with endorsements from The Rock and Daniel Bryan, Reigns still remains unpopular with a large portion of the audience. The Wrestlemania main event is in serious risk of being taken over by the live crowd. Also how disheartening it is that Daniel Bryan, the best thing WWE have on their roster, a guy who got over organically, Will be reduced to mid card fodder at the biggest show of the year.

If I hadn't already bought tickets to a Wrestlemania party I wouldn't order it. The card doesn't interest me at all, the product is so bloody stale and Vince sticking with this main event smacks of a man out of touch with his audience.

Disgusted with that 3 hour special event.

Better see Rollins walk out of Mania now with the belt or tonight was definitely a complete waste of time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,710 ✭✭✭IncognitoMan

Tonight has made me realise that there is zero need for a ppv between the rumble and mania. Because nothing was decided tonight, just a practice run for what will be at maina. All these matches could have happened on raw over a build between rumble and mania.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Rock is at the Oscars but I'm sure he'll be pleased when he hears Reigns has won. At least someone in the family has won something tonight.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,089 ✭✭✭✭rovert

Felt really sorry for the Wrestlers on the undercard (besides Cesaro & Kidd - well done lads). Lackluster creative heading into the show, terrible crowd and some terrible finishes. The top two matches were pretty good. Not feeling the Mania matches. Reigns and Lesnar needs someone to lead them, Taker-Wyatt will be a bad hocus pocus build and Sting doesn't seem to have much passion or fire even in angles.

Bryan gave up his claim to the Mania main event in the post match so I guess it is Yes vs Fella at Mania.

Layla must have hated the show :p:

I think I'll go back and re-watch the main event tomorrow fresher, maybe I'll like it more then. A lot of my enthusiasm was sapped by how awful most of the rest of the show was.

i was just coming on to say this.

Sheamus to beat up Bryan on Raw now so we can get the match we should've got last year before the fans screwed it up.

Lesnar v Reigns will be worth watching just to see the WM crowd shít all over it.

the funny thing is, Bryan beating Lesnar is far more believable to me than Reigns beating Lesnar. what are we supposed to believe, that Reigns will outmuscle Brock to win the title?

    fúck off.

Rusev better come up with a new submission finisher, cos as ADR found out, once Cena powers out of it as easily as he did last night, theres no coming back from it.

I'd be more concerned about Cena getting a new finisher, how many people kick out of the AA these days and not even mentioning Lesnar making it look like a joke at Royal Rumble.

No interest in watching WM main event now, ****ing Roman Reigns

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

    - Ziggler and Rollins jerk the curtain. Rollins isnt even involved in the decision and yet again two mid-40s past it dinosaurs that EVERYONE is sick of seeing go over one of the most over guys on the roster. **** me.

I should have known better and went to sleep after that debacle. You knew it was gonna be bad when the show opens with that.

    - I liked the story between the Rhodes brothers, the actual in-ring action was average, expect better from those guys. Crowd was dead and the finish was a mess.

    - Cesaro and Kidd won. Yay. No complaints here.

    - Womens match was fine technically, I like Nikki but having Brie at ringside shouting the entire time drove me nuts.

    - Sting/HHH stuff was good but dead crowd ruined it.

    - Ambrose again looks like a total idiot. This is happening so often it's not an accident.

    - Bray promo was fine but that stuff has been done before. Whatever.

    - Cena/Rusev was decent, good performance from Rusev. Could pretty much hear Cena call every spot. Not for the first time either.

    - Reigns put in probably his best performance, yet it was still average at best. He gassed out absurdly fast. Yet he kicks out of the Knee+, gets out of the Yes Lock repeatedly and then beats DB with one spear. **** you Vince.

    Yawn.

    Reigns was shíte. Absolutely shíte.

He was carried worse than Cena ever has, to the point that the crowd was quite split at the start of the match, but by the end it was fully behind Bryan (even though he did some quite heelish things) because he was one putting in all the fúcking work.

Over the last month, WWE successfully made Bryan into 'just another guy' with some of the most horrendous booking, but in one match, he managed to overcome it yet again, to the point where everyone in that building knew who the actual current star is.

Reigns is going to fail miserably.

They muted the mics at the end.

Staggering they shove a guy who hasn't paid any dues whatsoever so hard down our throats.

People are going to watch regardless and as long as that's the case they'll do what they like.

As soon as I heard Vince comment on the Rumble I knew they weren't changing.

Seth is definitely cashing in either at Mania or on the Raw after, there is no doubt in my mind.

they will then try to portray Reigns as the underdog against the machine.

fúcking lunacy when you look at how the guy is booked.

At the way they are pushing Reigns and treating Rollins, I firmly expect Rollins to cash in and lose.
