    Hi all ,
Recently married to my partner and I have a question . She was over here on a student visa but now is on a stamp 4 visa . She worked for about 4 months in 2 years in a shop and is now unemployed . Would she be entitled to apply for social welfare ?
    Any feedback would be appreciated

    Thanks !

Yes but job seekers allowance. Any income you have will effect her rate of pay.

I would be careful about her getting benefits until after she gets citizenship. You have to declare this on the application form at it could count against her.
