    Whats going to happen????

    1. Buckle under the pressure.

    2.Scrape through.

    3.Win convincingly.

    Lloris

    Walker - Fazio - Vertonghen - Rose.

    Stambouli - Mason

    Townsend - Paulinho - Eriksen

    Kane.

Im going for a 3-1 win....3rd goal coming on the counter late in the game.

I will go with number 2. Something like go two down and score one at the end and go through on away goals

Dont think we will see paulinho in the first eleven

Vorm is starting. Hopefully Paulinho isn't. Think we'll scrape through 1-1 but who cares once we make it.

Don't think Lloris is injured but Poch confirmed earlier that Vorm will start.

    Are ye serious ? I can't believe this , I really can't

Harry did this with cudicini a few years back of I recall and it cost us the game

Have a bad feeling about this one, completely depends on what team is put out. Wont be simple in the least.. A tough Wednesday night in Sheffield, we could buckle.:(
    Hope not though.

I know if true it is just madness, sometimes Poch has some very strange selection ideas which have already cost us an FA cup run and also a decent lead going into the second leg. If he does not play Hugo it will mean a week and a half off for him, mind boggling.

I don't think it's mind boggling. Yes Vorm made a mistake but he is our 2nd choice keeper and we never know when he may need to be called in as 1st choice. Poch wants to show he still has faith. I'm happy with that.

You play your best team in a semi final - end of story

Yes you said it 2nd choice and this is a semi final, if we are lucky enough to make the final I hope Hugo starts as he will never probably get a chance to play in a final for us again. Anyway that is getting ahead of ourselves, no room for sentiment and keeping number two's happy.

Spot on. Lloris should play end of story.

This game has banana skin written all over it knowing Spurs,Poch has to put out his strongest team.

I prefer Poch picking the team. "end of story" seems a bit dictatorial.

    Lloris
    Walker - Fazio - Verts - Davies
    Lennon - Dembele - Mason - Lamela
    Eriksen
    Kane

First leg was sloppy and a borefest, but we got the result. Gotta move the ball quicker. The atmosphere should be great tonight, giving it a proper cup tie feeling.

Lloris should play, but maybe Poch wants to give Vorm more game time when Lloris inevitably leaves in the summer.

I think we'll win tonight. Not by much, but it will be comfortable enough, at least till the last 10 minutes.

You're not a professional footballer. In fairness if you lose concentration while sitting at your desk (as I did for most of my school years) it didn't affect too much. If Chadli loses concentration in a match he could injure someone or cost us a goal, possibly costing someone else their job.

I'm sure it's just Poch's way of saying we'll see if he's match fit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,913 ✭✭✭Ormus

Chadli is available for this game, but his fitness will be assessed.

There's no suggestion of a psychological assessment. He's been off for a week or two, it's normal to assess a player's fitness after an absence.

The bigger question though, is Chandili going to be fit and available? :D

I simply took assessed to mean asked if he's ok to play, in a compassionate and understanding manner from one human being to another :P - and I thought I was reading too much into it :D
