Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fencing Panels - Timber or PVC

The timber panels in my back garden are rotten and need to be replaced. Has anyone used PVC panels and would you recommend them?

My existing posts are concrete and the timber panels are sitting on top of a single precast concrete panel in contact with the ground.

It's much the same as a PVC vs Wooden door argument, personally PVC will never look like or age as nice as a quality timber fence (i.e. not shiplap). We just went for an all timber fence around an apartment complex including posts and barrel board instead of concrete so it should all age nicely together.

The PVC is a honeycoombe strtucture but is easily damaged compared to timber.
