    Hi there
Am wondering does anyone know if there are any easy beginners Irish language classes on anywhere in Limerick city. Don't want formal classes like in UL or Limerick college of further education. Have tried conradh na gaeilge but no running at present. Have seen in community centre in caherconlish they have cheap beginners irish on in evening but that too far out. Looking for something similiar nearer the city. It not for an exam so just want something informal to learn a few bits

    Many thanks

    hi yogalady

UL have an informal one called Irish for Parents, it might cover the basics for you

From their website http://www2.ul.ie/web/WWW/Services/enAonad_na_Gaeilge/Evening_Courses Suitable for those who would like to use more Irish at home with their children and to incorporate some everyday Irish into daily life. Suitable for those who did Irish at school, but who are very out of practice. Topics include 'telling the time', 'clothes & colours', and 'giving orders' (the imperative mode).

    Day: Thursday, beginning 12/2/2015
    Time: 19.00-20.30
