Hi lads, I am living in my own private rented accommodation at the moment, its a single bedroom apartment. I am doing a training course with fas at the moment and i am struggling with costs so i am looking at getting rent allowance sorted, my rent is 84 a week living in tralee kerry. How do i even go about getting started…

You need to look here. Pay careful attention to the rates. RA will not be paid if your rent is above the rate allowed for your area.
