What is with the Socialist party and their Syriza rubbish that they have all over the place.

Do they have the right to put it up?

It is bad enough we will have election posters up in the coming months without Socialist party rubbish being put up all around the place.

What is the rubbish? Are they posters\placards on poles? Are they advertising a demonstration or something? I THINK if advertising a demo they are allowed.

I was driving, the word Syriza stuck out and it was on a socialist placard. I had to concentrate on the road and the rest was not easy to see when driving.

Even if for a demo, I don't see the relevance of a Greek political party being on a poster here.

If it was any comedy, music or theatre promoter in the town, they would be fined. I don't see why these kind of political talks should be exempt from that. There's one of these posters on James Street, adjacent to the CBS fence and it's on eye level with anyone walking down the street. Wouldn't mind but they are very ugly posters.

Are these socialist posters blank and white as usual?

I hope they get a huge turnout from Kilkenny's vibrant student population!

Its advertising a public event, someone from Syriza is coming over to give a talk I think. tbf that sounds quite interesting. OP, its not litter just because you dont like it.

They don't have a huge party machine and funds that goes with it, so maybe they think this kind of advertising is cheap and effective. Not my cup of tea but they are cutting their cloth accordingly, and it might be interesting

It is litter if they didn't get planning to put them up.
