Accommodation near Connoly Station?

Hi I'm thinking of travelling to Belfast, via a sleep in dublin,coming from Heuston ,how would I best get to Connolly ?and is there somewhere convenient I could sleep? plan would be to travel late to Dublin and go to Belfast early the following morning,for a day trip, never been across the border.
Any advice appreciated

I can recommend the Beresford Hotel on Store Street, only 2 pr 3 hundred yards from Connolly Station.
Very reasonable at this time of year, and a lovely little place.

You can get the LUAS outside the door of Heuston and it passes the hotel.
