Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My boiler has started to intermittently cut out and i need to press the reset button to get it going again. Can be fine for a week and then cut-out more often, oil is low but not enough to cause this in my opinion. What else can cause this behaviour? It’s a Grant Euroflame 70/90, 4 years old.

Are you pressing the reset button on the burner [red button ] or the reset button on the top of the boiler

On the burner, the red button with a light.

lots of things could cause this issue but 2 that spring to mind are capacitor and sticking fuel pump

    has it been serviced recently

Was serviced 18 months ago, got a fill of oil earlier and he said the oil level was too low and its possibly picked up some dirt / air - if thats the case, what should i do?

imho its time for another service by a competent service engineer who will/should address all issues
