pc upgrade

    I'm looking to upgrade.my system to have an amd 8350 and a r9 280x gpu. But not sure if I should go with these or get better. Plus iv a budget of 500 and its to be able to run games like dying light, gta 5, resident evil revaltions 2, dead island 2, saints row get out of hell, stranded deep.

    My system specs
    asus m5a97 r2.0
    crucial 10666 2x 4gb
    Gt 620
    creative xfi music
    liteon dvd drive
    samsung 1tb hdd
    alpine 850w
    amd 4170
    tp-link n600 usb
    7 fans (3 led ) + 4 uv cathodes and 2 led strips
    Corsair H60
    neon light cable with inverter
    Windows 7 64bit ultimate

    I would recommend an r9 290 as that would be a good upgrade and overclocked is a beast. You have a large enough psu anyway. You would also probably squeeze a Gtx 970 in there with that cpu instead if you wanted with that budget. Performance between the 290 and 970 is minimal anyway but large price difference, the 290 can be found now for around 270 euro. Go with the tri-x version if you buy as it has the best cooling.

    Also if you get the 290 you would probably have enough left over for a 120gb ssd for your os. You would see a huge performance increase for day to day tasks. Also you'll find the 8320 is much cheaper and overclocks fantastically so the performance is about as good as a 8350.
