The current crop of stories are so bad that I'm almost looking forward to the next Condors' basketball game...

Because cleaners double up as engineers-sparks on Wednesdays. It's in her contract. Just like it's in Tommy's to double up as security-surveillance. It's a very well run hotel, is the Ballintine. So well run that the guests come and go without even being noticed. Maybe Lord Lucan really is there?

Don't call Debbie a cleaner on this thread...... I made that "mistake" before!

Not as bad as calling her an actor I hope!

Debbie's husband was there to pick up a fare...so he brought Michael with him?

This is so bad it's funny. I spend more time on the phone dissecting the badness with my mam.

Carol sends her baby son....who must be older...off to a cousin we've never heard of for two weeks?

Rachel goes home to watch Bridesmaids. Wow. Stop the lights.

I have a feeling the scriptwriters must read this...as there was customers in the hotel tonight

Flynn sneaks into the pub with a bright shiny new gun bought earlier in the Pound Shop. Still with his cute baby - blue glasses and that stupid grin on him.

    Not really Godfather material....

After Carol makes such a song and dance about fecking out the party revellers and DOESN'T lock the door.

I've never seen a crowd of party goers leave so quickly and happily. In my local, it could take an hour. Must be Candle's charm and pleasant demeanor.
Or else the customers decided to go somewhere where they might actually have something poured into their glasses. A party is always fun, but it's even better if you don't have to suck on an empty glass all night

    Who's Sean?

Oh, sorry, he's the guy that magically reappeared just in time for Heather's best seller book out this Christmas!

How would just holding your hand over her mouth work? How did Tommy even get in there? You've a woman tied up and you don't think to lock the door to stop people coming in?

What is Fabrizio Ravanelli even doing? "There's something going on on the other side of this cabinet, I'm sure of it. I'll have a listen and see if I can make out what's happening."

    Ridiculous Stuff.

    He's so close!!!!

All Tommy needs to do is hook up his trusted CCTV system, port forward here and there and he can get a bird's eyes view of what's happening behind the cabinet.

I'll change my prediction now to Tommy and Debbie to kill Cathal instead of Cathal killing Debbie

And for Deegan to begin his investigation after the ad break and have the case wrapped up by the end of the episode, only for Nina to return in the year 2050 to mess it all up!

Heather: If you're listening, it's a guaranteed best seller!

If that ring binder topples over it will take out both Cathal and Debbie

Please don't tell me that Tommy goes to the edge of the filing cabinet, doesn't hear anything or look any further, then goes back out not knowing what's going on? Please don't tell me that Debbie doesn't grunt or groan or stick her foot out to get his attention.
Although I suspect that's what the FC writers will have us believe
