    Obviously carol's sister will be a new character soon. I don't think she had ever mentioned her but now that she has, her sis will magically appear.
    Too many main characters missing from plots for far too long. Rte cutting corners as usual, it makes for a very disjointed script.
    It looks like Tommy is f**ked !! Mary Myers walked him into that one.

    It was very forced alright - but did someone not say on this thread that Cathal resembled the Joker some weeks back - I know someone had Heather posted up as The Joker too...

    Are they plundering our thread again?

    And surely you wouldn't need a pet friendly hotel for a 'pocket beagle' just a nice jacket - (not a Stripey life jacket like Gripey was wearing - no pockets)

    They have too much going on, what, with the Ballantine, the Pod, the launderette, the pub, the Bistro, the hardware the courier Co, the garage and the Spar, am I missing something? Is it no wonder it costs 11mill a year to broadcast this high class drama.... ;)

    Was it another case of never mind the ending here them lot out their will never notice

    You are spot on - too many sets and situations - which waters down a lot of the plots - I don't know why the Hotel is in it at all - why they decided to have a hostel - two pubs and a bistro - one it calls for more extras to add ambiance (not that we ever see them in the hotel) and two it creates scene hopping and pointless filler.

    Stupid story line to begin with, really, it takes months for vegetables to grow, why would Charlotte even try to make a € from that enterprise? ... The credit union is still not open, get in there Fin...... ;)

    I counted eight hotel staff last night, only one of whom had the power of speech. The others simply scowled and nodded. And this is the hotel that Stripey managed all on her own, from housekeepin, waitressing, receptionist, messenger, even going down to the cellar to change fuses once.
    And then Ray, for all his socialist, workers - first palaver, has no trouble peeling spuds and washing floors, without pay, because they're short of staff. They only had to bring back Stripey, she'd do the work of eight ppeople and still have time to eat and drink in all the local taverns. What a woman!
