Ok, my viewing span is reaching an end. Between the scenery chewing of Heather and Ellie and now that hateful little wa*on Charlotte making a return that's my limit. :rolleyes:

i quite like the character of Charolette. the actress is actually one of the better ones. she was the only saving grace of Lesbiangate lat year

How exactly did Shane look after her this time to warrant another present? She'll be sick again on Tuesday.

How can Caoimhe take over Dean's job,wasn't he the chef? She's a barmaid! Who's going to cook the meals?? It's not like she can hire a chef,sure there's not one in the whole of Dublin,ask Jackie....this is madness!

the scenes are on loop On the RTE production unit until Charlie chooses which voice he wants to use after roadtesting two for the last five years.

So expect to see more of Horrible Heather with her sickening grin, slow drawn out voice smothering Ellie and feeding her drugs whilst Ellie tells her shes ok, followed by a new scene where Ellie tells her her tummy hurts, followed by a new scene where The Streetdoctor walkis into the living room asks the physically ill child whats wrong with her and then tells her to fk off out of the room, get some water or something, anything, whilst he then tells Heather for the thousandth time she is sick because of the operation but does not feel obliged to carry out any practical medical examination on her, followed by him walking out and the camera panning to the grinning Heather, followed by a scene where Ama and Street doctor bump into Heather again , followed by the same repetitive cycle all over again the next day with intermittent scenes where Heather and Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa scowl at eachother like two cats ready to pounce and side scenes of Renee telling both of them all she wants is for the two of them to get alonnnnggggggggg.



So, no, short answer never going to end. DEAL WITH IT!

What was even the connection?? Out of nowhere, Caoimhe is in Vino's one day when Louise, from Barcelona decides to offer her the manager's gig. What the bloody hell is actually going on?

My daughter works in a deli and slices tomatoes and lettuce too. She's not earning anything like 35 grand a year.
Of course, she doesn't wear a hat like Deano's.
I suppose that's the real difference between a professional and an amateur tomato - slicer.

What a random episode. Ellie seems to have a huge fall down the stairs only to be shown safely back on the couch after the suspense of cutting to an adbreak.

Then as mentioned, after all the rigmarole we've been put through with dean & Louise etc, he leaves and is replaced by Caoimhe in the blink of an eye for no real reason.

At least he finally admitted they just serve tinned tomatoes though!

That was bizarre! Its like they just needed something to stop Heather from admitting to Shane what she was doing to Ellie so you get a big noise and Ellie screaming then after the adbreak its like well lets just forget that happened.

The thing is. A story like this has great potential and any other soap would do it justice. Every storyline is destroyed and turned into a comical disaster by Fair city when they choose to just repeat the same dialogue and scenes and shove the story and characters involved down your throat without respite for four days a week, over 3 or 4 months. Then same characters f off for months or into some freezing unit in Donnybrook until their next three month outing.

Any eegit involved in soaps would know that the most positive approach is to slowly develop a plot, don't repeat the same garbage and don't have the same characters shoved into every episode so as that you grow to get irritated by ever fibre being of them. Even the last few days there has been considerably more Bella and no one can muster one positive thing about him here!!
They drastically need to change the way they contract the actors involved in the show. These three month contracts (or so it seems) don't work in a show like this. Like where the hell are Wayne, notJennifer Aniston, Doug, Jane, Laura and a couple of others. Just disappeared! No explanation.
They also should realise that with the current way they let half the actors go missing for months, they don't have the material for four nights.
I genuinely think it would be a good idea to cut it back to three nights.

Shane Bigeyes is a weak fool . Surely it's unethical at the very least to be seeing Heather as a possible romantic liaison ? What doctor just calls around after work EVERY DAY with no charge !!

The child is well one day and sick the next ....this is going on for how long now?? (her appendix was taken out weeks ago)....and he hasn't insisted on tests or an MRI? Something could have been left inside after the operation like a swab ......and he is just saying this is normal after appendix ?? Sorry it's not ! It's the one operation that as soon as the appendix is out you feel 100% again as all the poison and infection is gone!

Who writes this stuff ? It's so unbelievable bad and poorly researched ... It actually feels likes it written by kids with no life experience !!

Hope Ama pulls the hair out of Heathers head if anything happens and slaps that weird grin off her face !

True. Its hard enough to take a child to your gp with a snotty nose without them referring u to specialist or E.R. for fear that they ll miss something and be liable.

Yes this is so daft at this point...every Dr would be gravely concerned for a child that is showing signs of serious illness... only so much can be appendix operation side effects...

its not even that he is blaming her symptoms on her appendix but blaming them on the effects of the operation. i mean he puts his hand on her forehead and immediately deciphers that any illness she has is down to this operation! if this is what an appendix removal op has on oneself id be willing to take my chances and suffer the effects of appendicitis! The other thing is will we ever get an explanation why heather has returned to be such a psychopath?? its a gaping plothole which the writers are willing to hope we dont notice. Plot driven as per usual. I get that characters dynamics have to change to keep their plots interesting but an explanation for such drastic character transformations is rarely proferred on Fair City. like this is serious sh😒t. Its not like she has returned and suddenly has a penchant for fur clothing or has abandoned her writing as she wants to become a circus clown, the woman is poisoning her child and acting like a crazy bunny boiler who makes Lucy seem like Mother Theresa.

That last scene with heather and Shane was like 'days of our lives' with the amount of corny one liners in it.

only got to see the first ten minutes of tonight, but, as ive said numerous times, it was just like a loop from every episode of the last fortnigjt!
heather meets Streetdoctor randomnly, tells him Ellie is feeling a bit ill. Shane urges her to bring him over (makes a change from his usual house calls i guess) .
Dean has some silly dilemna in vinos.
Carrie Crowley sucks another resident into this Ballantyne venture..........(is there anyone left now that doesnt have some sort of connection to this damn guestless hotel!!)
once again Streetdoctor randomnly meets Heather in Hungry Pig and they sit down together and share their time there! This has happened numerous times now and flirty banter is shared between them
Heather ten meets Nussy and a few bitchy remarks are thrown between eachother

So horribly out of character for Street doctor to do this. Really irritating plot driven cr@p.


This show really needs to drop an episode and look at itself. These plots could easily be wrapped up in a fortnight yet last, oftentimes, four months!! Mental stuff!
