    I reckon they're only delighted she's gone!

Mind you Young adults/children being estranged from most of their family seems a feature of FC - Zach, Jack, Callum (Rachel up in her room for 6 months) Paul's other son last seen somewhere in Mallow and now Charlotte (the very reason her family left for Spain was to protect her from a murder charge?)

Not to mention Bella's mob who moved en masse to Australia.

Would be great if they brought Tommy back, they always seem to get rid of the good characters and keep the likes of Ray.

Would it not have been a case that her uniform was in Decco's? Why would she bring that school uniform to Spain?

It was a joke..... I wasn't being pedantic!

Drives me mad, that does. We're Irish, not American! Ergo we are mammys!

Drives me mad having storylines about mams mums mos or whatever you wanna call them! I know the majority of soap viewers would be female all the mam stuff annoys me. FC in particular. Plenty of things in life harder than having a kid.

That was not aimed at you personally it's just a view I have. I hope my comment won't be jumped on as it's not aimed at anyone else.

I just despise these "new mam" storylines. Lazy & cliched drivel.

Not looking for one tbh I'm just voicing my annoyance at the lazy new mam storylines. Once Ronnie wakes up in Eastenders we'll have months of her trying to "connect" with her baby.

No,I agree with you. There is a set number of new baby/child cliches the soaps operate with on rotation.......can't bond with the baby, baby is kidnapped, baby is sick, child goes missing etc etc. Gets a bit tedious watching the sobbing mams (Orla!) after a while, especially if you watch a few different soaps. You're right, realism and rationalism are replaced by lazy predictable cliches.

Although to be fair, I guess the reality of toilet training & homework is decidedly less dramatic! :-)

We don't know. The doctor was incredibly vague.

Tommy's been RELEASED??? Surely a medical professional would use the word 'discharged?

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

I'm sorry, but Orla's continued manic carry on is sooooo annoying.

    Agreed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,522 ✭✭✭paleoperson

    Agreed.

I assumed it was while they are thinking of a name for him, or they're calling him Wayne but he's Wayne "junior".

  • Registered Users Posts: 274 ✭✭jones 19

Hang on, the kids name is Junior ?........

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,192 ✭✭✭bottlebrush

Didn't Judith tell Tommy way back that Orla was pregnant with his child, but it went over his head?
Was waiting there at the end of that episode to see him lurking around the hospital waiting to go in and kidnap Junior. Can you imagine the palaver then!
