Nor can I. But in FC there doesn't have to be a reason. You can be a cnut in the morning and having a pint in the afternoon with each other. Look at sourpuss and Charlotte, or Paul and Dermish!

Orla and Caoimhe used to go out shop lifting together and on one occasion Rachel was with them, and Rachel told Charlotte blah blah blah etc

Yes, but that doesn't explain the hostility between them. I don't think their actual paths crossed in any hostile manner apart from the other day.

I think as Orla is Rachel's cousin or "auntie" through Niamh everyone thinks Charlotte is a bad influence on Rachel plus what Charlotte did to Callum which I'm sure Paul or Jane has filled in Orla in about

But have they filled her in? Seeing as Jo hasn't been filled in on who the real thief was then I don't think Orla was filled in. Also, was Paul filled in? If so, how does it explain Charlotte in his house and him not booting her out? It's bonkers. Rachel should be kicked into touch if she dared started bringing a thief into her house that framed her brother. But not in FC. Dinner dates and CVs being updated not a bother.

Did Paul pay Jo the charity money as well as Jo retrieving the money from the bed?

Not even a sniff of a Deegan/Frank investigation.....

No no. You can steal money from a shop, plant it and frame an innocent person and then just walk around and hang out in the house of the innocent person with the sister and father looking on....All the while evading capture/investigating for stabbing your bloodless father to death.

Totally agree with the comments about the love triangle, can't believe it's still going on!

Robbie slept with Yvonne just before she left, surely Carol has no interest now?!! If he could do that so early on, knowing the history between Yvonne and Caddle, she couldn't be that stupid to go back there surely!

Dan heard from Yvonne that Carol only said she loved him in hospital as she pitied him and was with Robbie on the sly...he may be paralysed but his brain still functions...he can't suddenly think there's hope there again, can he? It's really annoying how they are re-hashing this!

Who will make up the quad next time? Are there any single women left in Carrigstown...ooh besides Niamh??

So you are saying the murdering, thief Charlotte has took the moral ground after that!

There was no hostility, barely any screentime together. FC producers just saw that they are two strongheaded females with brazen attitudes so have decided to pit them against eachother but were too lazy or stup1d to give a reason/backstory/plot as to why they conflict. No surprise really.

Lately the FC writers have really surpassed themselves. The Carrie Crowley/Neil depression story, the ear infection story, Callum's exit, Paul and Niamh as good as playing happy families again, meeeeeeee daaaaaaa, Ama/Doug, Laura bumping into lesbians on every street corner and the LOVE Square have been shambolic, even by standards of FC!

But its why we love it! If the quality improved it would be boring!

None of the four are a great catch, are they? They all have numerous skeletons in their cupboard and tons of baggage. I'd say most people would give them a wide berth when it comes to romance.

I've just realised something. Not one resident/business owner in Carrigstown own a pet. No dogs, no cats, not even a goldfish.

Is there a fear the actors may be out shone?

The blurb on RTE for tonight.

Damien’s on a mission to help Caoimhe connect with Junior, but could it backfire? Charlotte’s overinflated CV is about to land her in trouble, while Cass encourages Ray to make the peace with Renee. When confronted by a hostile Dan, can Carol deny her feelings for Robbie?

Pets would be a good idea. They then could cast somebody to play the local friendly vet and the characters could be walking their pet in the park and just bump into the vet and he would diagnose all their problems without them ever having to go to the vet surgery and they would bump into him in the hungry pig, the pub, Spar, ... oh wait....!

Would love to see a few cuddly animals though, seriously.

Maybe cast a vampish Labradoodle as the new corner of the luv parallelogram.

Bronagh: Well Dan, is that a banana in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 2,572 ✭✭✭Black Menorca

What ever gave Caddle the impression that there is something up with Dan???

    Female intuition? :D

Orla has gone from one extreme to another...... nervous shambles of last week to arrogant, smug and smarta$$ this week.

No sign of Junior - must be gone to a convalescent home

Wow, such a turnaround with Orla.

Do they ever leave Dan alone? Constantly wrecking his head.

How do Caddle or Robbie ever get anything else done they're in the hospital so much - even outside of visiting hours. Tomorrow night's episode will start with Robbie visiting Dan, then both of them visiting Dan, then Carol on her own and all over again on Sunday night until Junior's ear is ready

The nurse must sit outside the door 24/7, when he nearly fell out of the bed she was there in seconds.

The advantage of a one patient hospital I suppose.

Honestly, the numbet of hours I've spent since last Thursday, tossing and turning in the bed, worrying about Junior's poor little ears.
And this week, not a word from Orla or Wayne about the poor child.
    Oh, the inhumanity of it........

Has something changed with the RTE player recently? In the past whenever I have tried to watch Fair City on catchup here in County Antrim I got the "unavailbale in your territory" message - however last week it worked fine!

Maybe Ray organised a Workers Revolution at the weekend and we're all living in a united Socialist Republic. ;)
