She went from being a cleaner to a hotel receptionist in the space of one episode.

Yes you're right. It is housekeeping supervisor. Its a weird set. Just Jo and Debbie in the hotel on their own...

They're really dragging out this depression story now. Every single episode starts & ends with Jackie's mopey face,it's like the year long Dan saga all over again. I feel like I see more of Jackie than my own mother these days.....

This thread is what keeps me watching Fair City.
The storylines are ridiculous, the acting is atrocious, the sets are terrible (in damos house you can see the persons shadow on every wall)
Neil is just doing my head in he's totally different from the first Neil, and there's no explanation as to why he is the way he is.
Does Doug take a few yolks before they start filming? His head twitching and body jumping is hilarious.
Charlie Shakespeare is the most annoying character in it.

Have to agree that this thread is the best thing about FC too..Kerrie Anne is such an unbelieveable character, not to mention her acting. The thing about some of the other actors is that they seem to be just playing themselves..i know people who talk/behave like Doug, Deco or Damien for example.

Obviously it costs a lot of money to produce one episode of Fair City so it's hard to blame RTE for not showing it from time to time. I'd say they don't get much change out of a tenner per episode.

I didn't think it costs Rte anything to put on FC, doesn't the sponsors, (chill) plus all the revenue they rake in from advertising pay.
