Focusing Ring on Sigma Lens

I find it difficult to adjust the focusing ring on a Sigma 70-300 lens due to arthritis on my hands. Is there a way of making the focusing ring freer? Any tops please? I have no problem with a Canon 18-135 lens.

I don't think is much you can do to reduce the effort unless the lens needs a clean and lube etc.

What about a focusing lever that clamps around the focus ring ?
