Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Disappointing to only get a draw there tonight. We controlled that game, but didn't make enough decent chances.

Maybe you shaded it in the second, but you didn't control the game

Very boring match in the end. Good point for Chelsea

Chelsea are the Donegal of Gaelic football. Puke football.

Liverpool should start playing like Donegal so

Boring game and crap advert for the league, long gone are the games of Utd vs Arsenal at the turn of the millennium

We'll have to agree to differ.

Even enough game but overall I have to say it is a point gained for Chelsea and two points lost for City...they were there for the taking. Some players for us didn't play that well at all. Ah well title race will only really begin now in my opinion. 5 points is a decent lead but Chelsea have lost that once already this season. Gonna be interesting for sure.

City dominated that second half without really creating anything, still think they deserved to win. Good point for us.

Give me the old Arsenal v United title games from 15 odd years ago any day of the week.

Chelsea were pretty poor today, can't really complain considering they played 120 mins during the week, City definitely unlucky not to take all 3 points. Chelsea will be much the happier with that result.

Excellent post there. Summed up the game perfectly. I can't remember us testing Courtois seriously in that second half.

    I didn't say it wasn't effective.

    Fairly flaccid affair expected. 1-1.

I expect that Chelsea will dominate possession but city will end up with better chances.

    Dour. /hopeimwrong

    Nailed it, unfortunately.

First half was ok at best. Chelsea were very lucky not to concede in the second half and never looked like scoring. Very disappointing that Hazard and Oscar completely faced away. Wouldn't be surprised if Hazard picked up an injury or something.

    City were city.

Probably a bit frustrating for both sets of fans, with a whole lot of meh on top.

    That was a terrible game.

Disappointed City didn't get a goal in the second half as that might, emphasis on the might, made things a bit more interesting. Draw the deserved result imo. Would a fair assessment be that both City and Chelsea are currently experiencing lulls in their form?

Between the four games in 12 days for Chelsea and City nearly the same on top of a silly friendly I would say fatigue is a big part aswell as key absentees for both

Chelsea are fairly poison to watch at times.

It's good for the league they didn't win tbh.

Pellegrini is on a completely different class level to Mourinho too. Add to that his philosophy on the game is completely positive.

Chelsea have been brilliant to watch at times this season too tbh

Shock horror great manager does what's needed to win the league

No Cesc or Costa today. A point is a better result for Chelsea.

Cesc is a big loss and Chelsea lacked creativity without him.

The main thing for City was not to lose.

Gav the draw specialist seen to that!

However, league is completely in Chelseas hands. Still all to play though
