Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How is Abi considered a credible witness? She has changed her statement so many times

Is it just me or does Ian look more like Kathy's brother than her son?

I just cant stand Eastenders at the moment, Lauren your dad has already been rotting in Jail for months but yet you continue to let him suffer plus putting him through a trail when all you have to do is open your mouth, the whole things a f**king joke at this stage.

+1. There's suspension of belief and then there's the Lucy murder story-line. At this point it's so tedious, I just want it to end so we don't have to listen to Jane having a breakdown, Ian trying to pretend everythings fine and Bobby wondering what's going on.

must be hard for lee, all of them hovering around him, talking about him and his medication like he's not there. he's probably sorry he told anyone.

Oh God I bet when Charlie finds out Ronnie and Roxie are playing him Ronnie will say "she's my sister". This will probably be her millionth time saying that line.

I didn't see tonights yet so don't know latest developments.

But I always thought Marcus was some back street dodgy solicitor , but he seems to be a barrister , wig and all, as don't barristers do all the talking in serious court cases, after being advised by the clients solicitor.

R&R's relationship is the creepiest sibling relationship in soap land since the incest storyline on Brookside!

Your comments reminded me of this I saw a few years ago :P

They changed the rules in England so that solicitors, or some solicitors anyway, can represent clients like barristers do. There's been a lot of controversy about it in the legal profession because it's designed to save money but doesn't give the best defence to someone in court. There's been protests by barristers over it as well. Must hack them off to spend years and a small fortune specialising in law only to have a solicitor doing their job instead.

You really had to ask that question!! He looks and sounds entirely different...... .... so yeah they did it would appear 😄

I can't see them recasting Peter, at least they said they wouldn't if I can recall? so the story that effectively splits Lauren and Peter up would want to be thought through a lot better than the Alicia and David split in Emmerdale.

Would be ridiculous if Peter wants nothing to do with his kid.

Perhaps he will take blame for Lucy's death meaning he can't return TO PROTECT BOBBY (sigh 😑😞)

Why is that - did he leave on bad terms?

Hes currently in Canada/America filming X-Men Apocalypse as the character Archangel. I'd be gobsmacked if he comes back to England to work in a soap. Be a very weird career move. It was most likely a multi-movie deal he signed with FOX aswell.

Wow, I didn't know that. I actually didn't think he was a great actor! Just goes to show what I know! :-)

I think it's a shame the EE have used Lee in the depression storyline. It's a really important issue and it affects so many people, but Lee is such a tedious character that I find myself indifferent to him and everything to do with him, so I've no interest in whether he takes his pills or not. He's the male Abi, 2 facial expressions and he's very dull.

Did the guy that played Johnny get a big acting job as well over in the US?

Nosy bitch Ronnie, basically asking Lee what he's at the doctors for?

Has Lauren said why Peter didn't return with her, surely he would be back for his son's birth  and again why has Lauren not yet told on Bobby, Max may be a whore dog but he still is innocent of Lucy's murder and is Lauren's father

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 87,360 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

I can't believe Lauren is willing now to let her dad go down  selfish b*tch

And why did Charlie leave Matthew behind, I thought he truly cared for him more than Ronnie the mad murdering b*tch

The eastenders writer/producer recently said he scrapped the death of a character, I'm guessing it was charlie. I think they were gonna have charlie jump in front of that train. Would have been a bit grim though.

I was really hoping Charlie would escape with Matthew, surprised that he just left him behind particularly after his own relationship with Nick. I used to be a big fan of Ronnie but I now find her insufferable and really unlikeable, I wonder if Sam Womack is happy with the way her character has developed in recent months.

Right please can someone explain last night to me?
    I'm so confused.

I know Charlie suggested to Roxy that they run off to France together with baby Matthew.

I know Roxy told Ronnie about the plan and together they packed a bag and got a passport for Matthew.

I know Charlie and Roxy left for France, but Roxy was keeping Ronnie in the loop via texts.

BUT what I don't get is why Ronnie suddenly panicked when Vincent told her what was going on...and she was begging the taxi driver to hurry up.

Why was she behaving like that if she knew all along what the plan was?!
    And what was the plan?
Was Ronnie going to confront Charlie?

Lauren is worse than Ian and Jane for letting Max stay accused even though she knows the truth. Of course Max and Abi turned on each other, they both think they know who killed Lucy. Abi ratted Max out. Can't really blame him for not wanting to go to jail for a murder he didn't commit

Also how many times has Lauren said she 'knows' Max is innocent. That's bloody suspicious, Carol and Abi haven't picked up on it.

When Vincent told her, she didn't freak out then as all was still going according to plan. He wouldn't have been left leave the country with Matthew as Ritchie, the Mitchell solicitor, had sorted it. Probably got an alert on his passport or something.

But then Roxy figured out that he knew that Ronnie knew about them going to France so he figured out the girls were in cahoots.

Roxy texted Ronnie saying "He knows."

    Cue Ronnie freaking out.
