Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Live subtitles always miss words though

Maybe he's questioning her himself so - maybe he was thinking all along that Abi killed her and he says that Lauren knows "whether" she did :-D

I was sure he said "whether" also, I played it back a few times and that's what I thought!!

"Well, that you killed lucy"- the "well that" sounds like "whether".

I thought it was an obvious "big twist" moment that will all be revealed in next episode to not be the case at all, or only part of the whole story and not the actual "killer".

i think thats how they are going with this,

    Max will question Abi,

    Jane will question X tomorrow,

and Thursday the killer will confess to that person.

Or maybe the wind did it

She knows Abi! Weather, you killed Lucy!

Abi as a nature lover is stunned

I'd expect a big difference in that regard between subtitled fully live shows, and shows that are live but scripted... yes they're live, but they have a script, and those who do the subtitles know in advance what should be said...

Weather wasn't even a suspect! Now THAT'S a shock reveal!

Yep, now when I listen back it sounds like a slurred 'well, that you killed Lucy', rather than 'whether'.

    Argh.

Wasn't all that long ago I'd lost interest in Eastenders altogether, and now look at me. Head is done in!! :D

Just to confuse things, what I heard was..

    Max: She knows..
    Abi: Knows what..
Max: WAY THAT you killed Lucy.

I wonder what the sirens are?

It's his accent - the way words run into each other it sounds like "whether" to some and "well, that" to others - I'm going with "well, that"!

I have made an executive decision.

I'm sending all of us for hearing lessons, and Jake Wood for speech lessons. Problem sorted :D

I think either have the whole ep live or not at all - we wouldn't be wondering then if Max had made a mistake or not in the last scene if it was just recorded! :-D

Oh please god yes...the Carters stand out so much from the rest of the show imo they're no Mitchells are they. Or Beales. Or Brannings. Or Fowlers. I could go on

I got him the first time and switched it off  As far as I'm concerned he said something like "Well that you killed Lucy"

So now I might actually watch it back online where I can actually see #EELive at the top of the screen for live scenes.

I'm a bit wild like that.

It was only the beginning and ending that were live

Anyone else think Alfie was incredibly annoying tonight?

Oh, I missed this. Seems the actor who played Tamwar was live tweeting in character http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2015/02/17/eastenders-live-week-episode-tamwar-masood_n_6695946.html

What was the point of Peggy's return?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,389 ✭✭✭NachoBusiness

It's 'the way that you killed, Lucy' God dammit!

    Here's what I think occurred..

Abi found evidence Max was banging Lucy and went around to Ian's looking for them. Found them in bed, Abi flips out and smacks her head off something, just like when she lost it and tried to drown Lauren in the apple bobbing bowl at Halloween.

Oh and that glass fruit bowl that Martin brought round will surely be used to brain someone by Saturday.

I think I'm going to have to find the episode from last year where she died, I need to refresh my memory.

To have her back for the 30th celebrations. No good reason for it apart from that.

    Oh, and
    To kill Mick

I don't know but her entrance was way over the top walking in to Dots house and shouting at her like that it was an awful way to come back into the show showing her mouthy side when minutes later her and Dot were drinking tea and chatting, what's Phil up to with his passport?
