Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Looking at buying a tacx santori smart t2400. They seem like the business but I've not seen any. Anyone have one or have any other options that would be worth looking at?
    Thanks.

I have used one few times (un-calibrated) and power seems true enough.

My friend who purchased one has it calibrated. Easy enough thing to do. If you have android or apple with the tacx app you have to spin up to km/h and it tells you either to tighten or loosen th wheel.
He compared with powertap or similar and figures were the same.
https://app.strava.com/activities/248204585 One drawback he says is that you have to calibrate every time you take your bike off the turbo and put it back on again. Not a broblem if you leave your bike in there for most of the week.

Pairs nicely with Garmin (ANT+). Ipad has to have Bluetooth 2.0 so Ipad 3 upwards I think. Anderoid soft 4.3 and above.

Where and how much is it? In my LBS it's €349.
If you like your numbers and need a turbo it's not that bad. Turbo itself is nice and smooth.

TrainerRoad might be worth a look? It's about $10 a month for the software you can use on your laptop or iPhone, takes data from your speed/cadence sensors and gives you a virtual power figure based on the resitance curve of your trainer. I've just bought the gear required so will be trying it out this week.

Thanks for the info lads. It seems perfect. Not really interested in trsinerroad though.
My local bike shop (Marrey Bikes, plugs allowed?) have it for €299 with free delivery.
Just need to put a few euro aside now.
