    How much is a one minute call to a landline and mobile during the daytime?

    At present a one minute call to a landline during daytime is 7cent while availing of the OFF peak plan

    Mobile networks vary as below:

    Meteor is 11 cent
    Emobile is 11cent
    02 is 29 cent
    Vodafone is 29 cent
    Three Network is 29 cent
    Tesco is 29 cent

    These charges will increase by 17% from April

    Say with Eircom Off Peak landline plan - what calls would incurr this?

    The 20 cent call set up fee means that an automatic 20cent is charged once the person you are calling answers your phone call. This is changed to all calls.

    So what calls does the set up charge apply to - for people on the Off peak plan?

    It applies to all calls out of the allocated minutes offer by a call plan. So for example: You have off peak free calls to land lines but make a call to a landline for 2 minutes during the day - this will have a call set up fee of 20 cent & an additional 14cent for the two minute call.

    The call set up fee also applies to all calls made where there is no call plan in place.

    Does it apply to mobile calls made during the day - if you are on the off peak plan?
