Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Michael Owen wrecks my head

He must have the memory of a pee when he was on about all the crosses in the first half,he said he couldn't remember the last time Utd put in as many crosses,

I thought it wasn't possible for anyone to forget the home game against Fulham from last season.

    Unlucky RVP

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

    brilliant delivery

  • Still looks like we are depending on full backs, and we don't want to control midfield all that much.

I admit that was a good run from McNair and cross

Van Persie is just dying to score here.

RVP needs to come off. He's killing chances...

  • Wow nice from Rooney

McNair having a stormer on the right

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,196 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Di Maria and RVP off for Falcao and Wilson soon enough I would guess.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

DiMaria seems intent on scoring from a corner.

Honestly, some commentators need a kick up the arse.

Wayne Matter scored the first goal

It's like they didn't get the rights to pronounce their name right so have to go back like pes

Beginning of the end for RVP unfortunately it looks like.

    Why do you think that?

The game is practically won and no point leaving him on and risking injury when you can be giving minutes to a youngster.

    Ah those were the days;

    Hottebeunik (Hasselbaink)
    Orhailmanaz (Overmars)
    Mahaail (Maakay)
    Frooibad (Kluivert)
    Farzel Haar (Van der Sar)
    Von Mistelroum (Van Nistelrooy)

Of the end of his match? Yes?
    He got subbed?

    ???

I think RVP is still important to utd and I never doubt his commitment

Always capable of scoring an amazing goal

I don't mean this game in particular but his performance tonight has highlighted what's missing from him in terms of finishing etc. I just don't think we will see him back to the level of 18 months ago again. More than half the season is played and he's still really struggling for consistent form.

    I hope I'm wrong.

Whipped in some nice corners,Fellaini should have been told the attack the front post try and get a touch on them.

That keeper has been world class tonight anyone else and it would be 6 or 7-0.

I think he landed all but one right on top of the keeper. It was nearly impossible to attack them.

McNair has done quite well tonight. Possible future at Rb

  • McNair on the right is the highlight for me today. His delivery has been excellent and very consistant from what I have seen.

Surely gives lvg food for thought

Was just going to post that. Props to nutzz and hococop also.

He was one of our top performers before he joined the injury list this season

Christ I hate this keep possession football of van gaals.

Never liked watching barca do it and they were a lot better than us.

Smalling with another brainfart. Ok when your 3 up but always likely to do the same when the stakes are higher.

Should we give cambridge the ball so we can play on the counter?

Summary of the game for someone who didn't see it? Evans get chastised in here for any minor mistakes?
