By the looks of the image in the photo the footpath along the liffey in Newbridge Park is for sale ? I was always under the impression this was not private land. Or could this be a misprint. Its either that or the river bed of the liffey is for sale.

This looks like the old Irish ropes sports field at the back of ryston pitch and putt club, it overlooks the Newbridge Liffey linear park but doesn't intrude on it.

Its the bottom rectangle of red. Isnt that the walkway alongside the river that leads to the boardwalk. Unless its displaying the different approaches to the site.

    From the agents site. http://photos-a.propertyimages.ie/media/6/6/0/3029066/809295f7-2210-419c-b15e-c245f033ecfc.pdf
‘F’ – Open Space & Amenity - To protect and provide for open space, amenity and recreational
    provision
The areas included in this zoning objective cover both private and public open space and are dispersed
throughout the town. The aim of this land use zoning objective is to protect recreation, open space and
amenity areas, to maintain and improve amenity lands, to preserve private open space and to provide
    recreational facilities
. Existing agricultural uses in open spaces area will continue to be permitted and
reasonable development proposals in relation to this issue will be considered on their merits.

Basically the buyer would own the path and be responsible for its upkeep and would have to keep it open to the public.

This plot of land has come up for sale a few times and never sold.
