Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Different type of dive.

Gerrard goes spread eagle legs and arms akimbo....like a snow angel or starfish. It's uncanny. Pires was the pioneer of kicking the defender and flopping.

Possibly. Not a Liverpool fan though so you would have to ask one of them. And yeh, joking aside I hate diving and hate the excuses fans use to justify it. So you can call me an expert if you like. :)

    Liverpool deserved the win.

I have a feeling they will get Man Utd if they beat Palace.

He's done well in recent games and played his part in the defence in general being more solid, so hopefully it'll continue.

I think bolton keeper will be pissed off with coutino's goal, seed more of a lob than a shot. Class though

    Joe Allen. whats the point!

To be honest I think Brendan came to Liverpool with a tika taka philosophy that might have suited Joe. There is no doubt we changed into a counter attacking team that left him stranded. Not a bad player but no doubt he'll be moved on in the summer.

Wouldn't count on it. He should be moved on, but Rogers seemed to be willing to give him opportunities (none of which he has warranted) so I'd say he'll be at Liverpool for another season at least.

I'd say he found his level with Swansea and would do a job for a mid-table club (before the jokes, Liverpool did finish 2nd last year). Can't slate him too much; he tries, he's just not good enough.

Yes. As pointed out by all the sensible people on this thread,it was a dive. The idiots, blinded by their hatred said it was a penalty.

Even Lennon said it wasn't a penalty.

    /debate.

Lennon also said he thought Danns' red card was never. It could easily have been a straight red ffs.

His argument was that the first one wasn't a yellow, he said there was no option with the second one. Overall just bashed the ref and said that he wasn't even sure the peno was a peno.

Personally I'd lump in the assistant who missed the couple of offside calls in the first half as also having a bad game.

Great to get the win in the end last night. Really impressed with Emre Can. Thought he did great when we were pushing forward late in the game. Coutinho was unreal.

Good win by Liverpool, did what was needed and now they've a very good chance winning the fa cup.

Coutinho playing some excellent football, a Iittle inconsistent but that's to be expected from such a young player, if he can keep up his form he'll be one of the best players in the world. Scary thing is, he's only Liverpool's third of fourth best player
