File won't run black window flashes

    When you click a exe to run and a black window like the command windows flashes and the file does not open what does it mean? There is no error it just does nothing

    The window is too quick to se if anything written in t. can i slow it or make it freeze? Could it be a file blocked by a firewall

    What is the exe?
    If you run it from a command prompt you may be able to see an error message.

    It's possibly a corrupted file, or the file is doing something in the background. As Halfbaker said what is the .exe, and has it worked previously?
