Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do rowan whips have black buds?

Was rooting around under our large beech tree today and noticed an abundance of 1/2 year old whips coming up. Adjacent are ash and rowan (sorbus).
The whips have distinctive black 'buds' and while I know this is indicative of ash trees does anyone know if rowan whips also have black 'buds'?
(didn't have a camera with me so photos will have to wait until tomorrow).
    Thanks.
