Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have been using mine 3-4 times a week since the start of December and have yet to change the battery.

I'd say you got a dud.

apparently the seals arent very good, the damp makes them stay on which flattens the battery. the only guy i know with one takes out the battery now at the end of a ride.

Its has to do with the bluetooth sn/ensor. Basically the Ant signal turns itself of after a period of inactivity but for some reason the BT keepstransmitting and in that state it seems to eat true the battery.

1st thing is to update the foirmware. Download the app to a smartphone and link the phone using BT to the Stages PM and check for a firmware update.

If that doesn't fix the issue then it is down to the fact that the first batches that they seemed to make suffered from this issue. Inmany case the firmware remedies it but if not then you need to get onto to support and they will deal with it.

In terms of the battery cover and seals, then are not very good. They were never designed to being opened every day and so they quickly fail.

I had the same issue as you had and got onto stages. By the time they had worked out the firmware solution I had cycled in the rain and since I had broken the seal the whole thing was kappupt. They replaced it no problem and even sent me additional covers and seal should it happen again.

As said above, you'll have to return it and get a replacement. The good news is that Stages support/ Madison UK are great to deal with.

Same here, spent a few weeks changing batteries every few days too.
Got in touch with stages, sent it back to them - had a replacement within a week.

Working perfectly now, havn't had any issues in about a month on the same battery. Bit of a pain in the ass but sorted pretty quickly by them.

think I might have to do the same with mine, it started off fine and after 3/4 months would be gone after a week-10 days. Will put a new battery in and see what I get out of it... good to know stages are good to deal with...

Im in the process of getting mine replaced for this issue, with this being the 2nd time Im returning the power meter to them.

Even with the updated firmware, replacement battery seals and cover and using the Android App, the batteries are depleting after 2-4 weeks.
Raise a ticket with the support area on their website and they will deal with it promptly.
