Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Adventure Time...savage.

It looks much scarier than cartoons and kids tv shows from my days, that's for sure.

Cartoons these days have a real feeling that the writers take copious amounts of yolks...

    Yolks or yokes?

Gerrard to put in an entirely ineffective performance, but score a pen and be hailed a hero

Liverpool will need to beat the lower midtable teams like Everton to retain their upper midtable status

Going for an away win here

If Liverpool do come away with 3 points from this game, it will be a massive step towards the top 4.

Same here. It'll be a big 3 points for Liverpool that will go a long way to keeping them in the hunt for a Europa League place.

As an Everton fan I'm dreading this game. We've been woojus and melodian for months. That's bad, in case you're not in the Dubliners.

    I expect the following:

Gerrard to drive for a penalty.
    Gareth Barry sent off.
    Disallowed Lukaku goal.
Gerrard to go in two footed on Mirallas and somehow Mirallas gets booked.

    they/them/theirs

The usual so,apart from Slippy G driving for a penalty that is :p

People complain about the advertisement for the game being all about Gerrard.

Proceed to talk primarily and almost exclusively about Gerrard :p

I really hope Everton stick it to sky by ruining slippys swan song.

I'm staying away from here for the day so I'll just finish up my saying:

come on you blue boys, these flag waving, corner turning, sky bumming, full kit, badge wearing, poem writing, our year w&ankers are sh!te :D

Would coming away with 0 points mean Liverpool won't finish in the top 4?

getting less points than the team in 4th place come May will mean Liverpool won't finish in the top 4

I like Can at 25/1, and Jagielka at 18s. Think it'll be tight

I can see pool giving everton a spanking. Even a nil nil I wouldn't fancy Can getting MotM.

I agree it's more a value bet at 25/1 given the praise he's got in the last week and his performance the last time Neville commentated. It will be a Gerrard/Barkley/Sterling type player that will get it but throwing a few quid down anyway for the interest!

Mirallas to run in front of Stevie as he's about to get the yellow card and take it off him, that's how it'll hapen.

Rather this than him to be brilliant and miss a peno to be a villain

I'll be happy with a load of groin strains lol!
Not looking for broken bones or anything heavy:-)

Except for balotelli , he needs his head stamped on after what he did to Scott Parker a few years ago lol

I can't really blame the man.

Be different if he said, "I hope Gerrard breaks his legs today". Although Gerrard isn't really a key player anymore, but point stands.

Edit: And then he wrote about head stamping :pac:

Injuries to Sturridge, Coutinho and Sterling would be an ideal scenario for United, Arsenal, Spurs etc.
I'd be delighted with that, and I'm sure you would if the roles were reversed.

It's not as if he wants them dead, no need to go all Maude Flanders.

If it annoys you I can be "here" more often...

There's always someone that will take the Flanders route when anybody mentions injuries in that manner. It's part and parcel of the game. Direct rivals picking up injuries is good news, nothing to get all morally superior about.

I'm not happy that I have the same opinion as WillIAmnt.

I've no issues with someone hoping that opposition players get injured (broadly speaking). It's very different to someone being glad that a player got a horrific injury, but if Kane, Benteleb and Eriksen all picked up injuries today I'd be happy with that as we play them in 3 days time, while not wishing actual pain on them.

It's simple logic. You want the best chance to succeed.
There's nothing wrong with having the same opinion as me btw ;)

The delusion that all fans of a select team are deluded, or even just more deluded than the a fan base of another select team.

    Deludception.
