Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If it annoys you I can be "here" more often...

There's always someone that will take the Flanders route when anybody mentions injuries in that manner. It's part and parcel of the game. Direct rivals picking up injuries is good news, nothing to get all morally superior about.
Ahhh, no thanks but we appreciate the offer.

Perhaps we could return the favour in the not so distant future...

Knock yourself out. I just leave a thread if I don't like how it's going, easier and better than hanging around moaning.

Rumours that Ibe is going to start.

As Dickerty noted he could be a handy wing back on the right.

He might keep Baines honest if he is the right wingback.

You should be fine plenty of other basic level players in your squad that can fill the gap :)

I'd be OK with it if it was in Anfield, or if it was another game aside form the Derby, but I just think he's a little too untested for me to be comfortable with is right now.

Like you say, he'll certainly keep Baines on his toes with his pace, dribbling, and even his work rate, so you never know. Just hope the occasion doesn't get to him.

If it keeps Henderson off the wing I'm not against it.

Nah, hopefully be able to give it a go next season but don't tar us all with the one brush because you seen somebody post it somewhere once upon a time.

If it keeps Henderson off the wing I'm not against it.

If Ibe does play then aside from an obvious attacking injury, I'd guess either Gerrard or Lucas won't start.

Suppose, as long as he keeps Lucas in, as I think Gerrard will be starting.

Would also mean that Sturridge isn't fit enough to start, I'd wager.

    Maybe:

    Mignolet
    Can
    Skrtel
    Sakho
    Moreno
    Ibe
    Lucas
    Henderson
    Gerrard
    Coutinho
    Sterling

I'd say so. Hopefully Ibe will have the defensive discipline for the role, but delighted for him to get a start in a big game.

Nice to see Ibe get a start, best young player in the league.

    They're hardly Sakho and Cissokho.

It will be interesting to see who Sturridge replaces if/ when he is introduced.
Hopefully it's simply a case of just subbing whomever needs subbing i.e if Gerrard is struggling he's not left on for no other reason than its his last derby.

Of course here's hoping his last derby goes well for him.

As much as I love Gerrard! An Everton win would help spurs a lot..

Along with plenty of yellow cards and soft injuries to pool lol.

I can't see either side keeping a clean sheet, praying Everton up there game and show enough desire to nick the 3pts

Everton should be beating that team comfortably but they're a mess at the moment.

Bad news for Liverpool that James McCarthy is in the Everton side.

I'm surprised by Ibe's inclusion, but I'm curiously happy about it. Rodgers must see a weakness in that Everton defense.

Big day for gerrard. The premier leagues greatest ever player last Derby game. I think he going something special today.

Liverpool win out easily for me. Everton are in poor shape coming into this, unless they can be really inspired by the derby occasion they don't have a chance.

Remember when Everton fans wanted their own team to lose against Man City last season. The people's club.

Don't be surprised if McCarthy doesn't last, sign of desperation but unfortunately neccessary - hopefully the Palace result will give us the jolt needed for this game

Sturridge leaves the warm up early, down the tunnel with the physio

How long has he been out? Brilliant player when fully fit.

Stephen Naismith is one of the best young forwards in the game.
