Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Get Gerrard off the pitch we might as well be playing with 10 ffs.

We're in complete control of this match, but Everton proving very tough to break down,

Poor game, you would expect a bit more passion in this fixture.
Besic the pick of the bunch for me, very tidy player.

Now to the Sky Sports studio to watch Redknapp agree with everything Carragher says

Everton are clearly set up for the draw first and foremost, if they nick it that's clearly Brucie Bonus for them. Liverpool have to get the ball to the wingbacks more I think, trying to pass it though the middle is not really on as long as Everton sit so compact and deep.

Plenty of passes around the box, can't break them down once we get there though. Need to get the ball up the pitch quicker and Ibe seems to be the man to do that. Hopefully Coutinho's alright, still didn't look to be moving freely at the half.

You just know Allen comes into training every Monday morning, and is first to check the passing stats from the weekend's match.

    Should have been red there.

It wasn't even a foul, let alone a red card. There was barely any contact in the tackle so if he hurt his knee when he went down, it's his own fault.

Coutinho has previous injuring himself when diving. I remember Chico Flores kicking him in the stomach, after which Coutinho decided it warranted leaping 6 feet into the air like a salmon and then injuring his shoulder on the way down. Out for about 4 months.

    1. That was Ashley Williams
    2. There was contact in the Besic challenge
    3. He's talking about a different foul
    4. It's Turty, pinch of salt

He spent about 45 minutes rolling around the place whenever he's tackled

The truth hurts a few in here

    Sturridge to start second half?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,231 ✭✭✭Hercule Poirot

If Martinez pulls his usual stunt in taking off Besic instead of Barry mid-way through the second half I will go over there and smack him in the mouth

I think he was talking about the one where McCarthy got booked

It's like Jamie Redknapp has his answer prepared before the question is asked, and then even if it's not the question he is expecting, he still says the same thing.

It's because he's thick. Which would be okay if he knew football, but he doesn't. Carragher and Neville are both quite dim but they understand the game very well so they make good pundits.
