I was a big fan of Bradford when he came out of college, I thought that he was one of the most complete players at that level, but it hasnt panned out for him in the pros and we've been completely fleeced by the Rams. Regardless of how Bradford plays, and if he's healthy he could play very well for us, we gave up way too much to get him and got very little in return. If we had traded first rounders and it was clear that we were trying to get the ammo for moving up for Mariota I'd be much more in favour of this (even though I'm not sold on Mariota) but to do this and take a player that hasn't played in two years and has a huge cap number compared to Foles who showed that he could be very good...I just don't understand

the thing is if chip truly believes his sports science can keep bradford healthy then maby its worth trading for him he does a lot of things well but good god how do you send them a younger guy thats less injury prone on a cheaper contract(11 mill cheaper so more than we saved on the lesean deal) and end up giving up more than them for it

The Rams have been great at accumulating draft picks but haven't really spent them that wisely. For all their draft picks in the top half of the draft over the last few years they still don't have a franchise QB and on offense they are still missing pieces you'd have to say.

but you have to admit on defense they have done quiet well! Maybe this might be the year they pick up some solid offensive players - wr pool is deep this year! And personally i think foles will be a much better option for them! At least they have an above dalton qb

They've been good on D alright, but they've passed up a lot of opportunities to sort out their QB situation as they had Bradford, now they've traded him so hope(for their sake) it's not back to the drawing board in a year or 2.

Not sure about Foles but at least he will have a strong running game and strong defense to help him.

49ers are going to release Stevie Johnson today apparently, freeing up more Cap space ($6m). You have to think they have some thing in the works to use up this cap space they are freeing.

WR's at present are Torrey Smith, Boldin, Patton, Ellington, Jerome Simpson. I think that's it at the moment. There are others who are more likely Special teams/return specialists.

Not really no, had a few nice games towards the end of his rookie year, especially against Arizona. He'd had a foot injury so missed some time.

Last season he didn't see much action at all. He was actually behind Ellington on the depth chart. I had him in my Dynasty league just in case, but I've dropped him now, so he'll probably be a 1st team All Pro next season.

There is crazy money being tossed around because several teams will lose out because of the 89% rule if they don't spend. The problem is that most contracts are not one year contracts and will impact on the salary cap in future years.

The 'market' is completely distorted at the moment and smart teams will not engage with this madness.

I have a man-crush on Brian Hoyer because of his limitations but as a Jets fan I'd still take Fitzpatrick over him. Overall though I can't see Geno or Fitzgerald as 3rd string so it's between them two for the starting QB position? That's a factory of sadness territory right there.

The Cardinals have made some very solid moves so far. Iupati is obviously the big money name signing but picking up Redding, Woodley, Peters & Weatherspoon on 1 & 2 year deals for relatively small money is great business.

delighted with the array of signings from the Jaguars. Had a huge amount of cap room to use up, and they've spent on marquee players along with average starters and 2nd string players

There are only 32 starting QB jobs in the world, with only ~20 people capable of doing the job. Hoyer, Mallet and Savage. Really feels like throwing pizza (you have previous with!)on a wall and seeing what sticks.

demarco murray in philly at the moment chip kelly cancelled a flight to insure he was there for it and apparently as soon as the eagles got bradford murray called chip telling him the eagles where his first choice.

raider still offering the most money though he is rumoured to want 8 mill plus id be shocked if the eagles paid that

To be honest, all the signs are that he doesnt want to sign for Oakland, and if thats the case, then stay away Demarco. Appears to be using us as leverage in the deal.
