If you have access to a machine with Powerpoint to create the presentation, you can save it as a PowerPoint Sideshow (.ppsx) which should work on any machine. Other than that are staroffice and OpenOffice still around?

wow that's a blast from the past.
It became OpenOffice because it was cheaper for SUN to buy the company than to pay for Microsoft licenses.

The developers then moved to LibreOffice (no need to use OpenOffice unless you have certain compatibility issues)

Download the English(GB) version, offline help is handy for when you don't have an interweb connection

Microsoft also have a powerpoint viewer (if you really, really have compatibility problems and even then YMMMV between versions) , but between all the patches LibreOffice is probably a smaller download and will let you edit slides too. And historically has less security vulnerabilities.
