No idea what a clara market is, but presumably she's gorgeous.

I may well end up having a dozen or more. And why not. It's good to surround yourself with beauty.

It's a market in County Offaly where people sell old tat.

It seems to me like you're trying to flog 'em. A dozen more for personal use. Hmmm...

Not for sale, old son. Strictly a bit of fun. I'll get bored of them in a week or two and move onto something else. I usually do. You seem strangely familiar, Dr Mantis. Have we met? It could just be the smell that's familiar...I was working beside a sewage works for a while last week.

I all fairness though, this is not to my liking but your welding looks clean enough, your spraying looks tidy enough, no runs visible from the couple of feet away in the photo equipment looks to be all mounted fairly cleanly with the faceplates well cut and the units look well finished, wether people like em or not, theres a fair bit of practical skill gone in there and they suit your style, shun the nonbelievers.

Minor spatial improvement, but still feel it's still offering nothing special.
Spring/hinge back 15" arms into 17" main (to compact) if anything.

In terms of 'special', I mean what USP (advantages) including aesthetic, functional and cosmetic can this offer over any other new 30 bucks complete hifi or stereo sytem?

You have seen and completed user research as to what other people have done with their car stereos, yes?
google images 'car radio for home use'

Stick it up on ebay by all means, but surely p&p would be a nightmare?
The legal stability for the sales of custom inverted domestic electronics an issue also.
If you're not selling these, then must have a big collection by now for xmas gifts.

Have you put it forward for the jamesdysonaward dot org?

Oddly enough, constructing a speaker this way has some big benefits - the rim and end covers form an effective drum, which amplifies sound in a way other speaker enclosures just don't, so suddenly, a cheap, run of the mill speaker unit produces crisp, clear sounds way beyond what they have any right to be doing. But sure slag ahead. I don't hugely give a damn, I made these for a bit of craic in my spare time, and I had a bit of craic making and listening to them.

Whilst there is some evidence of late kaizen practices, the early (paper) R&D element still seems to have been completely bypassed.

e.g. Drop in a 27Mhz CB (toggle from music set via squelch activation), small ceramic heater etc (also 12v) and you have an instant USP to sell to every taxi shop in the land.

That's pretty tacky horse. It reminds me of a Venus de Milo statue a mate had in his kitchen. It changed colours and flashed erratically
