Does anyone know where I can buy semolina for pizza bases? The only semolina I know is for dessert, surely this is not the same is it? Any info greatly appreciated.

It is the same, it only becomes dessert when you make it into a pudding by adding milk. The grainyness of it is all you are interested in for the pizza.

I use coarse polenta, you can get it in healthfood shops and some supermarkets. Don't make actual polenta though, it's gross when it's not attaced to the underside of pizza.

Tesco stock Semolina. Use it on pizza bases all the time.

Just picked up a 2 kilo bag in an asian supermarket for less than €2. That should last a bit!
