Sonas shower - tepid water tnrdivmk20

Our ensuite dramas continue... Plumbers installed a dual head shower in our ensuite, model tnrdivmk20. The water coming out is only tepid warm at the top of the range; what is the likely cause of this?

We have an immersion boiler with a booster switch so at first we thought it was just that our hot water had cooled down so we waited until the boiler was on to test again. When using the sink mixer tap, the hot water in the sink is perfect - you can bring it down to chilly and up to scorching, so it doesn't seem like there is an issue with the hot water getting to the bathroom, only that the mixing point is too low in the shower itself.

The shower has already been tiled (plumbers did their work, tiling continued, then the plumbers returned to add the fixtures).

If its a brand new shower its unlikely to be faulty (but its possible).

It's much more likely the plumber made a simple mistake putting the shower together. If there was no hot water at the time he wouldn't have noticed his mistake.

I believe the dial on the wall needs to be removed, twisted slightly & put back on again. Picture the temperature dial in the 12 o clock position. I believe the dial needs to come off & be put back on in (lets say) the 3 o clock position.

Its a simple thing to do but I would still recommend getting the plumber back to do it. He should not charge you & it should take about 5 minutes. Make sure you have plenty of hot water in the tank before he arrives. Hopefully this all thats wrong with it.
