    Hi all,
I have a UPC Cisco mediabox and I want to hide it and use a remote control extender. Can you tell me if there is a product that will work. I called them and they say that they just dont support this does this box use IR or RF for the remote?

I have now tried two seperate remote extenders with no joy from either. I surely cant be the only person to have tried this.

Any help or advice would be great.

    thank you in advance.

    Regards Dave.

A triax-trilink should work but are rather expensive approx 50-60euro ... it allows you to control the box via a magic eye all supplied with the kit....

All the UPC boxes are IR and the Horizon box is IR+RF

RA you sure you are placing the RF sender side in the correct position?
