Make up can accentuate even a pretty girl's face.

I don't think you know what accentuate means.
Shur, rubbing human excrement on your forehead can accentuate it

True, alot of time it's the rough ones plastered in it. Ever seen a pretty girl with 2 inches of slap on her face? It's always the rotters

Unfortunately you have to wait for some people to speak to see how ugly they are.

No it wouldn't. Your face would be covered in ****e, stinking and caked with sweetcorn kernels popping from the thick lumps. Not a good look.

Accentuate means to make more noticeable.
I'm pretty sure you would be turning heads.

No. Accentuate is to make better that which already exists. To improve or make more beautiful. To accentuate the eyes or curve of the cheek for example.

Lisa Murphy looks like her nose is being pulled from the inside of her face by some sort of rope and it's pulling the rest of her face into her head backwards. What a freak.

I'll say one thing Mary Kennedy still has it, she is so hot gets sexier everyday soo hot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,971 ✭✭✭_Whimsical_

I see lip gloss, fake eye lashes, fake tan, highlighter, mascara, eyeliner or eye line tattoo. The only person who had a completely fresh face there is Mary Kenny and fair play to her.

To be honest I don't care, it's women looking like women, it's really sad that it's note worthy that women have appeared in public without masks that render them unrecognizable.

Roz Purcell , Pippa O'Connor and Lisa Murphy.

Why exactly are the famous apart from one having been poled by Michael Flatley and that annoying prat Gerrard 'No e' Kean.

Only in Ireland are these non famous, 'models' (really advertising girls) deemed as famous.

Lisa Murphy looks like something I've seen in some horror films and she thinks she looks good, I'd love to have some of what she's on.

Stick up your own mugshot there dude so we can admire your chiseled features, high cheekbones and those bright eyes. I've met Glenda Gilson on a number of occasions. Most of the grotesque looking neckbeards around here would cream their yellowing y-fronts if a woman like her was to show them any interest.

Jesus. The comments here from some people (who I can only assume are absolutely flawless themselves). And then they ask why do women plaster themselves in makeup. You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.

I wear makeup every day. Not loads, but I wouldn't go to work without the small bit I do wear. And I couldn't give a flying flip what anyone thinks about it. But I can understand why someone would wear loads- with people out there who are so pass remarkable, I get why some people might feel like they need a mask of sorts.

Ah look I know, I just don't actually get how people can be so nasty about another person is all. It's just not something I can comprehend, I wouldn't get any kick out of saying something horrible about someone, particularly if I knew they could read it. There's enough nastiness in the world.

And no, that's not me being all PC and shyte, it's just - ya know - be nice, it's real easy.

I know those kind of opinions are rarely shared here so I'll shurrup now.

Im not being so nasty, I'm giving my genuine opinion. They asked for this by doing the article.

Oh, if there is profile raising in it then you'll see them.

When is Brezzie going Makeup free?
Surely he is fit for a PR gee-up again soon.

I used to think that Roz girl was weird looking too until I saw her in person. She's really pretty! And really nice.

I'd say a few of them have their eyelashes tinted/have eyelash extensions. That explains the mascara look.

    Pippa O'Connor is stunning!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,022 ✭✭✭jamesbere

Roz's skin looks like it's been worn down from too much make up, still a good looking woman. Pippa looks cracking can't understand why she needs make up.

Lisa Murphy look's like plastic surgery gone wrong.

the funny thing is that some of these are models who I would have presumed were ok looking without applying the slap, how wrong I was.
If it was not for make up they would be out of a job.
Lisa Murphy I think should apply for the next remake of Total Recall.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,971 ✭✭✭_Whimsical_

God such horrible comments about Lisa Murphy. She looks better than loads of Irish women her age who have a full face of slap on. I think she's beautiful without makeup.

Most of the others have make up of some sort on. No one wakes up with lucious black lashes curling or blonde hair and a natural strongly defined dark eyeline. Look at Mary Kennedys eyes and then look at Rozs and Pippas, total difference.

Some of them are tight going! And should get the slap back on asap. But fair play to them for having the balls to do it.

Pippa definitely should cut back on the makeup, naturally good looking girl.

We will buy cheap tesco wine, so I can demonstrate my modesty, and I can see the cheap blood-like wine dripping from your luscious lips like a vampire that just satiated their bloodthirsty desire.

I will wear a little bo-peep outfit for you and I will causally prance around a farmers field as he sights me down the barrel of his high powered-rifle. But a bullet from him would not turn me away from you, for a an arrow struck me and that caused a union of hearts between me and you.

Why would anyone pay a surgeon to make them look worse than they did before. Lisa Murphy has really ruined herself.

I personally think they look much better without the slap(allowing for the hint of a tint of mascara going on with a couple...). Mary Kennedy defo has a portrait in the attic(IMH she looks way better without the slap and younger with it and the woman is nearly 60. Da fuq? Kudos lass). Than again I genuinely prefer women without makeup and I don't mean the "natural look", or lippy and mascara that a lot of blokes seem to think is "natural" and makeup free. Plus in some cases makeup is one helluva mask and the lack of same can come as a right bloody shock. :s Like a woman finding out that the guy she thought had a lovely head of hair that is stuck on with glue. I want to see the human woman, not a canvas for max factor.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
